All services are provided in accordance with industry standards and best practices in South Africa.
2. Quotations and Pricing
Quote Validity: All quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise specified.
Pricing: Prices quoted are based on the scope of work assessed at the time of quotation. Any additional work or changes to the project scope will be quoted separately and require client approval before proceeding.
Price Variations: We reserve the right to adjust pricing if there are significant changes in material costs, labor rates, or unforeseen circumstances that affect project delivery.
3. Payment Terms
Deposit: A deposit of 30-50% (as specified in your quote) is required to secure your booking and commence work.
Progress Payments: For larger projects, progress payments may be required at agreed milestones.
Final Payment: The balance is due upon project completion and client satisfaction.
Payment Methods: We accept bank transfers, cash, and card payments. All payments should be made to Paint Hub's official bank account.
4. Project Timeline
We strive to complete all projects within the estimated timeframe provided in your quote. However, completion dates are estimates and may be affected by:
- Weather conditions (for exterior projects)
- Material availability
- Unforeseen structural issues
- Changes to project scope
- Client-requested delays
We will communicate any delays promptly and work to minimize disruption to your schedule.
5. Client Responsibilities
To ensure smooth project execution, clients agree to:
- Provide clear access to all areas requiring painting
- Remove or protect valuable items and furniture
- Ensure adequate power and water supply (if required)
- Inform us of any hazards or special conditions on the property
- Ensure pets are secured during work hours
- Provide timely feedback and approvals when requested
- Make payments according to the agreed schedule
6. Warranty and Guarantees
Workmanship Warranty: We provide a 10-year workmanship warranty on all painting services (terms and conditions apply).
Material Warranty: Paint and materials are covered by the manufacturer's warranty. We use premium quality paints from reputable suppliers.
Warranty Exclusions: Our warranty does not cover:
- Damage caused by client neglect or misuse
- Normal wear and tear
- Structural defects or water damage to the property
- Acts of nature or force majeure events
- Alterations made by third parties after our work is complete
7. Cancellation and Refunds
Client Cancellation: You may cancel your project before work commences with 48 hours' written notice. Deposits are non-refundable but may be applied to future services within 12 months.
Cancellation After Work Begins: If you cancel after work has commenced, you will be charged for all work completed, materials purchased, and a reasonable cancellation fee.
Our Right to Cancel: We reserve the right to cancel or refuse service if safety concerns arise, payment terms are not met, or if project requirements cannot be reasonably fulfilled.
8. Liability and Insurance
Paint Hub maintains comprehensive public liability insurance to protect both our business and our clients.
Our Liability: We take responsibility for any damage to your property caused directly by our negligence during the course of our work.
Limitation: Our liability is limited to the value of the services provided for the specific project. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages.
9. Health and Safety
We comply with all South African health and safety regulations, including:
- Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA)
- Construction Regulations
- Environmental protection laws
All our staff are trained in safe work practices and use appropriate personal protective equipment.
10. Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and designs, is the property of Paint Hub and protected by South African copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without written permission.
11. Dispute Resolution
We are committed to resolving any disputes amicably and professionally:
- Communication: Please contact us immediately if you have concerns about our service
- Mediation: If we cannot resolve the issue directly, we agree to attempt mediation before pursuing legal action
- Jurisdiction: These terms are governed by South African law, and disputes will be resolved in South African courts
